Brutal Ranks

Brutal Ranks are a new form of player difficulty that are now available in the mod! Instead of the set difficulties the host can choose you will now have the option to play on a difficulty per player. Each Player chooses their own difficulty in the Player Settings in the lobby.

There are 50 Brutal Ranks currently you can obtain by playing, with more coming in the future. You will start off on Brutal Rank I and to obtain the next rank, you have to rank up by playing on your current Brutal Rank or below. You can play on lower Brutal Rank than the one you are currently on, but will warrant lower XP gain towards your brutal rank.

Difficulties:

Player Damage All damage done by the player is reduced. Starting at a base 20% and increasing by 0.5% per Brutal Rank;

Zombie Damage All damage done by zombies to the player is increased. Starting at a base 35 damage and increasing by 1.5% per Brutal Rank;

Points All points gained by the player are reduced. Starting at a base 20% and increasing by 0.5% per Brutal Rank;

Experience All Experience gained by the player is increased. Increasing by 0.5% per Brutal Rank;

Per Player

These are per player difficulties, meaning you can have a game with several people where each person plays on their own set difficulty; Like Brutal Rank 1, 8, 15, or 25.
